# Preloaded points products

> `Smile.pointsProducts.preloaded()`

This method retrieves a list of preloaded points products from the cache, without making an API call. Refer to [preloading resources](/js/concepts/preloading) to learn how to refresh the value.

  For this method to return a value, points products must first be [preloaded](/js/concepts/preloading) . If you want to retrieve live values from the API, use the [`Smile.pointsProducts.get()`](/js/resources/points-products/get) method instead.

## Returns

This method returns an array of [points product objects](/js/resources/points-products/object). If points products have not been preloaded, `null` is returned.
